Can vinyl go in a fieldstone cellar that gets damp?
Usually, yes. We lay plastic sheeting over the slab, float the planks on top, and the ground moisture stays below. If water actually pools there, that gets fixed first.
Is LVP tough enough for farm dogs and kids?
It's one of the hardest wearing floors you can choose. The top wear layer can take a farm dog's nails, and spilled milk or muddy paw prints wipe up without soaking in.
Will vinyl look wrong in an old farmhouse?
Today's planks show convincing grain and wide widths. We'll set samples right next to your existing floors so you can judge before committing.
How many rooms get finished in one day?
Two average rooms usually take a single day. A bigger house may take two or three days, and since there's no acclimation wait, we begin when the planks show up.
Do you have to tear out my old floor?
Not always. If the old tile or sheet vinyl is flat and solid, the planks can be laid on top. Loose or cushioned flooring needs to come out, at about $1.00/Sq Ft.
How does payment work on vinyl jobs?
You settle the labor the morning our installers arrive, and the planks once they're carried inside. The estimate is free.
Is there a warranty on vinyl plank?
Twelve months covering our installation labor, plus the manufacturer's coverage on planks. Every Brazil Floors vinyl installer is NWFA certified.
