Swirl marks from the sander jump out under stain, which is why we screen the floor with very fine grit and vacuum it carefully before any color goes on.
Our finishers rub the color into each plank and wipe off whatever the wood doesn't drink up, working in narrow sections so it stays even from the woodstove to the windows.
Our own crew handles every staining job, start to finish. Each finisher is NWFA trained, we're licensed and insured, and staining work has a twelve month warranty.
