Each laminate job we do floats on a foam pad that quiets footsteps in an old house. Over cellar concrete, a sheet of plastic vapor barrier goes down first.
Our estimator brings laminate samples along. Set them next to your couch, the braided rug by the woodstove and the kitchen cabinets, then decide in your own hilltop daylight.
Laminate floors we install carry a twelve month warranty on our workmanship. Separately, the company that made the planks covers them on its own terms.

Labor runs $1.99/Sq Ft, and that includes the foam pad. Removing old carpet adds about $1.00/Sq Ft. Carrying your furniture out of the room and back afterward costs $250 flat.
