Can vinyl plank handle a wet basement?
Water cannot swell these planks, so basements and entries suit them well. We still check slab moisture and add sheeting, and puddles should get wiped so water never creeps under edges.
Will you lay vinyl over my old floor?
Often, as long as the surface below is level and well attached. Sound tile usually stays, but carpet always comes out. We confirm during your free visit.
How long does a vinyl install take?
A basement or a pair of bedrooms often wraps in one day. Bigger areas, stair work or lots of tear out stretch the schedule, which gets written down beforehand.
Will pets scratch luxury vinyl plank?
Ordinary claws barely mark a thick wear layer. A heavy dresser dragged across it can scuff, though, so felt pads under legs keep things fresh.
Do I have to move my own furniture?
You can. Otherwise our guys carry everything out, then return it, at a flat $250. Please pack breakables, computers and jewelry ahead of our visit.
When do vinyl payments happen?
You hand over labor money as installers walk in, and plank money when cartons land. The number on your estimate is the number you pay.
Is my vinyl floor guaranteed?
Yes. Workmanship is ours to fix for twelve months, while plank makers warranty their goods. A lifted seam gets repaired at zero cost.
