Can laminate go by the back door?
Water resistant laminate can take slushy January boots if you dry the puddles soon. Water left sitting all day can still swell it, so for really wet spots we usually suggest vinyl plank.
Is my cellar slab okay for laminate?
It can be, if the concrete is dry and flat with a poly barrier beneath the pad. We meter the slab first, and if it reads damp we will point you to waterproof vinyl plank instead.
Can laminate go in this month?
Most rooms take one day once the planks arrive, and Coventry ships them the day after you order. We set your install date at the estimate.
Will laminate sound hollow?
A decent pad and a thicker plank fix most of that. We include the pad with every laminate job, and 12mm planks sound noticeably more solid.
Do dogs and laminate get along?
Yes, a quality laminate has a hard surface made for everyday paws. Trim those nails now and then, glue felt under the dining chairs, and it stays nice for years.
How does laminate payment work?
Labor is due on install morning, and planks are paid for when the truck delivers them. The written estimate is the total, so nothing pops up later.
