Sample treads come with us. Set them on the bottom step, compare red oak to white and look at stain choices beside your banister and painted risers.
Any step that wobbles gets glued and screwed into the stringer first. Our carpenter then shapes every tread against your stairwell walls, since few old ones are square.
Stairs rebuilt by our NWFA certified carpenters carry a year of labor coverage. Each carpenter is licensed and insured, and your finish brand warrants its product.

Every new oak tread here is $60 per step, nosing, stain and finish all included. Sound original treads only needing a refresh are $50 per step, sanding plus finish.

Carpenters collect labor for new treads on arrival, and oak from our warehouse gets paid when it is delivered. Tread refinishing is split in halves, the first morning and when you inspect the result.
Yes. Our carpenters guarantee every staircase they rebuild for twelve months, and the finish manufacturer backs its own product as well.
