Old maple gets new maple, narrow red oak gets narrow red oak, grain lined up the same way. We try stain on offcuts until fresh strips blend right in.

On your free visit, a technician meters moisture strip by strip and shines a flashlight up at the subflooring from the cellar, so the patch outlasts a soggy April.
Bouncy spots get driven down with long screws into each joist, and gaps from a winter of steam heat are packed, so crumbs and sidewalk sand stop collecting.
Brazil Floors employees, never hired subs, handle each patch. Every tech is NWFA trained and carries our license plus insurance, and repair labor stays guaranteed a year.

We set the price on site, because a single cracked strip by the fridge and a burst washer hose flooding a whole first floor take very different amounts of work. Our estimate visit costs nothing.
Most of the time. Our techs hunt for reclaimed or new oak with your species, strip width and figure, then brush stain on scrap pieces. A full room sanding afterward blends any last difference.
Steam radiators dry out the indoor air, and wood gives up moisture and shrinks. Those cracks often tighten again once summer humidity returns, and any that never close get filled.
First we find the leak and let the floor dry, sometimes for weeks. Pieces that relax back down stay put, while any still crowned come out, and our tech fits matching oak in their place.
Faint marks on top often vanish once our drum passes over them. Dark urine spots sink into the wood, so the affected pieces get cut out, new oak goes in and our tech tints it until the stain is history.
Often, yes. Sanding everything together hides the line between new and original oak. Our full sanding and finishing price is $2.50/Sq Ft, whatever stain shade you want.
Your quote is written during the visit. For repairs that need sanding, half is due before any sanding begins, and the rest once you have looked the patch over. Moving heavy furniture costs $250.
Yes. Patches made by our licensed, insured techs stay guaranteed for a year. Should a new strip ever loosen, someone drives back to Clinton and secures it free.
