Water Resistant Laminate
Check the laminate model’s spill and room limits. In an Annadale entry that gets damp, check the exposed subfloor and address any moisture first.

Check whether the Annadale laminate has an attached pad. Use your manufacturer’s guide to decide whether an extra layer is allowed underneath.
View laminate samples in the room’s own lighting. Check how the print repeats across several boards and compare the texture with the trim.
Your Annadale quote sets the one-year labor terms. Keep your product model and care guide so you can distinguish the maker’s coverage.

Measure from the exposed base to the underside of the door and the first tread. Add the plank and its backing. An Annadale split entry may leave little room for a raised threshold, so review the landing junction and any trim that must remain before ordering.
At the opening, show the crew which side you want to keep. Record the depth of the exposed base and the height of the hardwood. If the house near Annadale Road has old casing or a wide threshold, check whether the new trim can meet it without changing the door swing.
Describe how the entry is used after walks and where wet footwear is left. Check the laminate’s room approval and care instructions, including the details at edges. Then measure the transition to the hall or step and assess the surface under the old covering.
Start at the opening between the two sections of the house. If the floor base changes at that point, each side may need a separate assessment. Review the planned plank and underlay against the old room’s finished level before selecting the profile that joins them.
Place two or three planks beside each other near the door and again in a dimmer corner. Compare the repeat and joint appearance near trim or cabinets. Use the lamps you normally switch on so you can judge the surface at night as well.
Check the installation guide supplied with the laminate. A factory pad may limit what else can be installed under it. Ask the estimator to name the approved layers in the quote and calculate the final floor height.
Inspect the exposed base for loose sections, height changes and old layers. Discuss how any additional work will be priced before the planks are fitted. Check the actual doorway clearance again once the covering is off.
Look for the product and backing, the area to be fitted and the transition profiles. Confirm whether removal and disposal are included and how the crew will document preparation before fitting.
