Unfinished oak is smoothed and sealed in place, in whatever sheen suits the house. Prefinished planks come ready, so the family can walk across them that same evening.
Each room is measured wall to wall. We check the plywood for soft spots, note where heat registers sit and look at how doorways meet the hall before writing a number.
Every installer we send has NWFA training and full insurance. A plank that lifts inside the first year is reset at no charge.

Long straight oak makes a narrow cape living room off Main Street feel twice as deep.

Herringbone adds real charm to a formal dining room on Common Street.

A chevron entry greets guests coming home from the Saturday market at Spring Brook Park.

Diagonal planks help a small bedroom in an older cape near Turner Pond look much wider.

Parquet squares bring a classic library mood to a study within walking distance of the Old Town Hall.

Basket weave in a sunroom looking toward the Adams Farm fields gives the morning sun a pattern to light up.

Labor is $2.25/Sq Ft nailed, $2.50 nailed with glue and $2.00 for a floated floor. Packages that include the oak run $5.50 unfinished and $6.00 prefinished per Sq Ft.

Usually, yes. We bring sample strips cut to that species and width, then sand and stain the new section on site so both rooms read as one floor.
Yes. Moving furniture costs $250. Couches, beds and bureaus wait in the garage or an unused bedroom while we work, then returned when the oak is down.
Stock leaves our Coventry warehouse and usually reaches your driveway by the following day. It then sits indoors a few days to adjust to the air in your home.
You pay for material as it is unloaded, and for labor on the morning the install crew pulls into your driveway. The written quote lists both amounts ahead of time.
Call us back. Labor on every install is guaranteed through its first year, so a plank that starts to creak gets quieted by our crew free.
