Walkthrough Before We Start
The first visit is a walkthrough. Our lead installer taps the subfloor for soft spots, measures door clearances and chooses the direction the rows will travel.

The installers in your Sharon home work for us directly. They hold licenses and NWFA credentials, and our insurance covers them and your property.
Before the first board, cartons are tallied, and reducers and thresholds are laid out at every opening so the transitions are planned, not improvised.
Our labor carries twelve months of protection, and the mill's own warranty on the planks sits on top of that.

Boards run parallel to the long wall for speed and less waste. In a deep colonial living room that direction adds length.

Short lengths set at right angles in a zigzag are cut one by one. A fitting design for the dining room of a Georgian style house.

Mitered at 45 degrees, the boards meet in a clean V along each row. It looks sharp in the open plans of newer Sharon homes.

Planks on the diagonal send the eye across the room, which opens up a small study off the front hall.

Squares of oak are turned so the grain alternates, giving a parquet effect that works in a screened sunroom.

Short strips woven over and under, bordered in a darker wood, belong in a formal parlor of a period house.

Nail down labor is $2.25/Sq Ft, and the price already contains nails and underlayment. With wood from us, materials plus installation run $5.50/Sq Ft for unfinished or $6.00/Sq Ft prefinished.
Not with nails. An engineered plank floats on foam with glue in the joints, which leaves the slab alone. Labor for floating is $2.00/Sq Ft.
Many times, yes. At the free visit we peel back a corner, and if the boards are good, a refinish may serve you better than replacing them.
Both. Vinyl plank labor is $2.00/Sq Ft and laminate labor is $1.99/Sq Ft, handy for a laundry room or a teen's bedroom.
Delivery comes from the Natick warehouse the day after the order. The boards then rest in the rooms until the installers are ready.
$60 per tread covers the riser, nosing, stain and labor. Existing treads in good shape can be refinished at $50 per step.
Labor is due when the crew begins and material when boxes are dropped at the house. For sanding, half is due on day one and half after the last coat.
Brazil Floors guarantees labor for a year, and the wood carries the maker's warranty. Anyone who shows up at your door holds a license, insurance and NWFA certification.
