Will laminate work below grade?
Over a dry slab it works, as long as a plastic moisture barrier sits under the foam. If your sump pump has ever failed during a storm, waterproof LVP is the safer pick.
Does old linoleum need to come up?
Often, yes. Not usually. Flat, well glued linoleum can stay in place under the foam. Any loose or cracked sections get pulled or patched first.
How does laminate handle a golden retriever?
Quite well. A high wear rating resists scratches from claws, though very large dogs may slide a bit on smooth finishes. Textured planks give better grip.
How many days will the crew need?
A typical bedroom is one day. A full first floor usually takes two or three days, and our crew lead confirms the dates when you sign.
Can you lay laminate on stairs?
We can, using matching stair nosing for each step. Many families choose oak treads for stairs instead, since they hold up better over time.
What is due at delivery?
