Walkthrough Before We Start
First visit, an installer walks every room you want done, bouncing a little on the plywood to feel for weak spots, and marks where thresholds and transitions belong.

You will never meet a subcontractor on our jobs. Every installer is a Brazil Floors employee who holds NWFA certification, a license and liability insurance.
On day one we measure again before cutting, then spread the planks around the room by length, so end joints scatter instead of lining up in stripes.
A loose plank or lifted seam in year one brings our crew back free. The material stays under its maker's warranty.

Straight rows end to end, the way most Randolph ranches were floored originally, and the thriftiest use of wood.

Herringbone sets short strips in a staggered zigzag, giving a den or dining room real energy.

Angled cuts meet in a V, forming arrows that pull the eye down a long front hall.

Diagonal rows make a compact bedroom feel roomier and hide walls that were never quite square.

Short strips grouped into squares and turned in alternating directions give a breakfast area a tidy grid.

Basket weave groups short pieces that turn ninety degrees every square, a crafted feel in a study or home office.

Most Randolph living rooms are quoted at $2.25/Sq Ft for nailing, with felt and fasteners part of it. Oak we provide brings an unfinished floor to $5.50/Sq Ft installed; a prefinished one runs $6.00/Sq Ft. Pulling up old flooring is roughly $1.00/Sq Ft.
Yes. On concrete, engineered planks can float on a foam pad at $2.00/Sq Ft in labor, or be glued and nailed for $2.50/Sq Ft, with the adhesive purchased on its own.
Our Coventry warehouse ships it overnight. Solid oak then rests indoors for a few days, matching your home's humidity, before we nail it.
We plan transitions at every doorway. If you would like old and new oak to read as one surface, both can be sanded and refinished in the same visit for $2.50/Sq Ft.
That is up to you. Clearing furniture yourself costs nothing, or our team handles the heavy lifting both ways for $250. We cover anything left nearby.
Two bedrooms or one large living room generally take a day or two of nailing. Unfinished oak adds sanding and finishing days after that.
Installation labor is due on the day we begin, and oak from us is paid as the truck unloads. Any sanding we do is split evenly, start and finish.
Brazil Floors guarantees installation labor for twelve months, plus the hardwood maker's own warranty. Our installers are certified by the NWFA, and each one is licensed and insured.
