Sixty year old oak has a tone of its own. Our tech copies the wood type, width and grain pattern, then mixes stain in your kitchen until the new strips go unnoticed.

Repair estimates cost nothing and take place at your house. Expect a moisture meter reading, a quick trip downstairs to check the joists, and then a price.
Strips that rock or lift get re-fastened to the subfloor. Gaps that open every January when the heat is running are filled so dirt does not pack into them.
Repairs are done by our licensed, insured NWFA trained employees. Should a patch we made loosen, lift or squeak before its first anniversary, the return trip is free.

Each job differs, so we quote only after a free visit to see the damage. You receive that figure in writing, and nothing begins until you say yes.
Usually, yes. Species, width and grain direction get matched, then the new strips are tinted to blend in with oak that has aged for decades.
Moisture from a slow leak or summer humidity makes the underside of each strip swell. We track down that source and stop it before replacing any wood.
Yes. Deep stains get removed along with those strips and new oak is fitted in, then finish is blended, leaving everything else in the room untouched.
The loose strips get located by ear and screwed into the framing below, which silences most squeaks and leaves the surface intact.
We aim for it to disappear. Matching wood, weaving pieces into the rows and blending finish make the patch very hard to spot.
Estimates are usually scheduled within a day or two. Smaller repairs are often finished in one visit once you approve the price.
Yes. For twelve months, any repair we made is guaranteed. Should something we fixed loosen or squeak again, a return visit costs you nothing.
