Anyone who works in your Monroe home is employed by Brazil Floors, licensed, insured and NWFA certified, not borrowed from another contractor.
The estimator measures every room, notes the step count and lists the trim and reducers, so what we deliver fits your house and the crew is not waiting on a missing piece.
We guarantee our labor for one year, and the wood comes with the warranty of whoever milled it, so the work and the boards are both covered.

Planks run along the longest wall, the layout that wastes the least wood and makes a narrow room feel longer.

Herringbone sets short boards in a hand cut zigzag, a good call for a dining room in a house with a few generations behind it.

Chevron cuts each board on an angle so the rows meet in a clean V, handsome in a great room where kitchen and living area share space.

Boards at 45 degrees to the walls carry the eye across a small room and make it feel wider.

Oak squares with alternating grain give a parquet look that fits a sunroom or a mudroom entry.

Basketweave strips pass over and under one another, often inside a dark border, a style seen in old village homes.

Our nail-down labor price is $2.25/Sq Ft, nails and underlayment folded in. If the wood comes from us, the total is $5.50/Sq Ft for unfinished or $6.00/Sq Ft for prefinished.
Yes. We check the framing and the subfloor first, fasten or replace what has gone soft and then nail the oak over a flat base. Tearing out the old flooring adds about $1.00/Sq Ft.
Engineered hardwood floated on underlayment, with no nails into the slab. That method has labor of $2.00/Sq Ft.
We do. Labor is $2.00/Sq Ft for vinyl plank and $1.99/Sq Ft for laminate, and vinyl is the safer choice near a mudroom door or a wet cellar.
Delivery from the Natick warehouse happens the day after the order goes in. The estimator talks through the crew date with you when you book.
Each new hardwood tread is $60, which includes riser, nosing, stain and labor. Oak steps already in the house can be refinished at $50 per step.
You pay labor as the crew starts work and material as the boxes are delivered. We can also move furniture for a flat $250.
Our labor has a one-year warranty and the flooring has its manufacturer warranty. The crew members are our employees, licensed, insured and NWFA certified.
