Choose maple, hickory or either oak, slim strip or wide plank, sanded here or sealed at the mill. We weigh each against apple season mud and a golden retriever.

Raw oak is sanded level in your house and stained to the sample you liked. Prefinished planks show up already sealed, raise less dust, and can take bare feet by suppertime.
Our estimator measures each room, reads subfloor moisture and checks for dips in older farmhouse framing, so the number on your quote is the number you end up paying.
Our own NWFA certified, insured employees lay every plank. Their work stays guaranteed a year, alongside the wood brand warranty.

Straight rows run with the length of the room and suit nearly any farmhouse, cape or colonial.

Herringbone zigzags short planks into a timeless pattern for a front hall or a quiet study.

Chevron trims each plank end on an angle, so neighboring rows meet in a crisp, pointed V.

A diagonal layout tilts rows across the room and can make a small den feel wider than it is.

Parquet sets short pieces in geometric squares, a nice fit for a library nook or dining room.

Basketweave pairs planks in alternating blocks, looking woven, and draws the eye in an entry.

Nailed down labor is $2.25/Sq Ft. Adding glue to the nails makes it $2.50/Sq Ft, and floating is $2.00/Sq Ft. If we supply unfinished oak too, the full package runs $5.50/Sq Ft, or $6.00/Sq Ft for prefinished.
Yes. Old houses in Still River often have sagging spots and uneven joists, so the subfloor gets leveled before any oak goes down, and we suggest a plank width that suits the age of the place.
Unfinished oak gets its color and final sanding right in your rooms, so any stain is possible and the surface ends up dead flat. Prefinished goes in quicker, with less mess, and the family can walk across it that night.
Solid oak does not like damp cellars, so for a basement we suggest floating engineered wood over a moisture barrier, or vinyl plank if water is a real worry.
Gladly. Removal is roughly $1.00/Sq Ft, and the price includes hauling off carpet, foam and those spiky tack strips. That figure is firmed up after someone from our office walks the room.
We can. For one flat $250 our crew hauls the furniture out to the garage or a spare room, then carries it all back in when the new oak floor is finished.
You pay labor when the installers pull up, and the wood when it comes off our truck. Orders placed today get loaded in Coventry tomorrow morning.
They do. For one year our own work is covered, and the wood itself carries a separate brand warranty. Each person laying your floor is NWFA certified, and our company holds a license plus insurance.
