Walkthrough Before We Start
Our lead installer visits first, looks over the subfloor, checks how flat it sits and plans which direction the planks should run through each room.

Every installer on your job is NWFA certified and works for us directly, fully licensed and insured, so no stranger with a nail gun shows up at the door.
Come the first morning, we take fresh measurements, open several boxes to mix lengths and shades, and lay out every reducer and threshold before nailing begins.
Workmanship is guaranteed for one year after we finish, and the manufacturer covers the wood itself under its own terms.

Planks running parallel to your longest wall make a clean, classic floor and keep the offcut pile small.

Short planks meet at right angles in a zigzag that feels warm and tailored.

Each plank is mitered at the end, and those points line up to draw you straight down a narrow hall.

Turned on a slant from corner to corner, the planks stretch a slim bedroom and mask walls that wander off square.

Small wood squares set in alternating directions give a dining area a crisp, old world grid.

Short strips set side by side in pairs flip direction block by block, like a woven basket laid across a study.

Nailing it down is $2.25/Sq Ft for our labor, nails plus underlayment thrown in. Want us to supply the wood as well? Then it's $5.50/Sq Ft installed for unfinished planks, or $6.00/Sq Ft for prefinished.
Yes. Homes close to the harbor and the Bass River can hold extra humidity, so we test the subfloor with a meter first. If readings run high, we suggest engineered planks that move less.
We can. Tearing out what's down there now is close to $1.00/Sq Ft per job, and if you'd rather not wrestle the couch and dressers yourself, our crew shifts the furniture for $250.
We ship your order from the Coventry warehouse the following day, and the crew can begin once it's inside. Weekdays don't work? We schedule weekends too.
No. Lots of people bring their own planks and pay only labor. If you want to shop, we carry samples right into your house, and our contractor pricing is backed by a promise to beat any lower quote.
Sure thing. Each brand new oak tread is $60. Solid wood steps already there can be refinished for $50 apiece, and we stain them to sit nicely beside the new floor.
You pay for installation on the morning the crew pulls in, and for material when it's dropped off. Sanding and refinishing jobs get paid in halves, one at the start and one at the finish.
Twelve months on our workmanship, with the maker's own warranty covering the wood itself. Everyone on the job holds NWFA certification, carries license and insurance, and works for us, not a sub.
