Samples on Your Own Wood
A sanded corner becomes our test strip, holding three or four candidate colors in a row, and you study them over lunch and again by lamplight before picking.

Any swirl a sander leaves will glow once stain hits it, so our final pass uses a fine screen, then the vacuum goes over everything twice before color comes out.
Color is padded across a few strips at a time and the surplus pulled off within minutes, so the tone holds steady across the whole room without halos near the trim.
Our licensed, insured crew carries NWFA training, and your stain job stays covered on labor for a full year after the last rag is put away.

Staining is $2.00/Sq Ft. Most floors also need a full sanding and refinish to take color evenly, which runs $2.50/Sq Ft, and we'll explain at the estimate what your floor needs.
Absolutely. A little patch gets sanded and three or four samples are brushed straight onto your wood, and you get to compare them in your own rooms, morning and evening, before the whole floor gets colored.
Red oak, white oak and maple all drink stain differently, and older floors have their own tone. That's why a sample on your actual wood is the only reliable test.
Yes. A neutral brown or a toning blend calms the orange and pink that red oak shows, especially in sunny rooms. We test a couple of options so you can pick.
Gray hides dust well but can look cool in north light. Dark espresso looks rich and shows dust sooner. We'll be honest about how each one behaves with kids and pets.
Color has to cure before any clear finish is laid over it, so plan for a few days for the whole job. Careful walking is usually okay by the next day after the final layer.
Sanding and staining jobs are paid in two halves: fifty percent when sanding starts and the balance when the floor is finished and you're happy with it.
People on our payroll do the work, licensed and insured, and every stain job is guaranteed on labor for twelve months. Should the color or finish ever need attention, we come back.
