Is LVP tough enough for a busy summer rental?
Very much so. It handles wet towels, beach sand and constant guest turnover, and one gouged plank can be replaced by itself while the planks around it stay put.
Do we have to rip out the old linoleum first?
Often not, if the linoleum is flat and firmly stuck down. Loose or bubbled spots get removed or leveled first so no ridges telegraph through the planks.
How long does a typical kitchen take?
Most kitchens are finished in a day, sometimes two if there are tricky cuts around an island or pantry. There's no drying time, so dinner can be cooked that night.
What happens if a basement floods?
The vinyl itself isn't harmed by water, but the slab under it has to dry. Click planks can be lifted, the concrete dried out and the same planks set back down.
Does vinyl handle a woodstove nearby?
Keep the stove on its proper hearth pad and vinyl can run right up to it. We leave a small gap at the pad edge, covered with trim.
Can the same vinyl run through the whole first floor?
Yes, and it looks clean without strips at every doorway. Large spaces sometimes need a hidden expansion break, which we plan ahead with you.
Do you offer stair treads to go with vinyl?
We do. Matching vinyl stair treads and nosings can carry the floor up the staircase, and we'll go over the cost at the estimate.
