Yes. Vinyl will not swell, mold or rot when it gets wet, which is why we suggest it for cellars near the ponds. A plastic sheet goes over the concrete first, and the planks can be pulled up and relaid after a small leak.
What is the price per foot for LVP?
Labor runs $2.00/Sq Ft, foam free. For our planks installed, the package price is $5.00/Sq Ft. Taking out an existing floor first usually adds about $1.00/Sq Ft.
Can vinyl go over the old linoleum?
Often. Flat, well bonded linoleum can stay as a base. Bubbled or cracked sections are cut out and patched so nothing shows through the new planks.
Should a landlord put LVP in an apartment?
Yes. It handles tenants, pets and spills far better than carpet, and a single plank with a gouge can be traded out later without redoing the room, which landlords here appreciate.
Can I look at samples in my own home?
Yes. Planks ride along to the free visit, and you are welcome to lay them beside your counters, sofa and trim in your actual rooms before settling on one.
Do you move the furniture?
Yes, for one flat $250 charge. Our crew shifts sofas, beds and tables into another room, then brings it all back when the final row is locked.
Do I pay for vinyl work up front?
Labor is collected as our crew starts, and the planks are settled when the truck drops them. Every figure is spelled out on your free estimate beforehand.
Is the vinyl installation under warranty?
Yes. If any seam opens or a plank drifts within twelve months, our own crew drives back to Fall River and fixes it at no charge, while the maker warrants the planks separately.
