Often, yes. When the tile lies flat with nothing loose or cracked, we fill the grout lines so they don't telegraph through, then lay planks right on top and skip a messy demo.
Click or glue down vinyl, which should I pick?
Click planks float and go in fast, great for most rooms. Glue down suits spots with heavy rolling loads or big temperature swings, like a sunroom. We recommend one at the visit.
Will sunlight fade vinyl planks?
Strong direct sun can lighten nearly any flooring after many years. Curtains or UV film on big south windows help, and rugs should be shifted around now and then.
Does vinyl plank work in a basement?
It's one of the best choices. We moisture test the slab, roll out plastic sheeting, then lay planks that won't swell even if humidity climbs in August.

How thick should a vinyl plank be?
Thicker planks with a solid core feel better underfoot and bridge small dips. The wear layer matters most for scratches, so we compare both on the samples.
Do I need to clear the kitchen?

What if a plank gets damaged later?
