Water Resistant Laminate
Good water resistant laminate brushes off snow tracked in by the slider and a spilled cereal bowl, provided somebody wipes the mess up before bedtime.

Planks float over thin foam that quiets each step. In basements, a sheet of poly covers the concrete first, a cheap insurance policy against ground damp.
Bring the decision home: our estimator spreads a dozen loose planks across your floor, beside the oak trim and the gray sectional, and you choose by daylight.
Should a seam we clicked together lift within twelve months, we fix it at no charge. Separately, whoever manufactured your planks stands behind them in writing.

Partly. The core is dense fiber made from ground wood, topped with a printed photo layer and a tough clear wear surface. It looks like oak but is far harder to scratch.
A dry mop or vacuum for daily grit, and a barely damp microfiber mop for spills. Skip steam mops and soaking wet buckets, since standing water is laminate's enemy.
No. The surface is a thin protective skin over a printed image, so sanding would destroy it. If a plank gets badly damaged, we replace that plank instead.
Laminate installation is $1.99/Sq Ft. Pulling up carpet or a previous floor beforehand adds about $1.00/Sq Ft. The free estimate gives you the room by room number.
We use transition strips at every doorway where floors change, picked to blend with the plank tone, so there's no tripping edge between rooms.
It can, though big temperature swings make floors expand and shrink. We leave a larger gap at the walls and may suggest vinyl plank if the room gets very hot.
Our installation labor is settled the morning work starts. If you buy planks from us, those are paid when they're delivered. No big deposit up front.
If a joint we set gapes or a row we laid lifts inside a year, expect us back to put it right, no bill. The plank company handles its own product coverage.
