Water Resistant Laminate
Water resistant laminate puts up with a sloshing dog bowl, snowy boots at the back door and a spilled glass of cider, provided nobody leaves the puddle overnight. We test the subfloor first.

Every laminate floor floats over a foam pad that cushions footsteps and keeps the click sound down. On a cellar slab we put a vapor barrier underneath too, so ground moisture stays put.
We bring laminate samples out to your place, so you can lay a few planks next to the couch, the rug and the kitchen cabinets and see how each one looks before deciding.
Our crew guarantees laminate labor a full year from the install date, and defects in the planks go to the brand's warranty. Everyone on the job is licensed and insured.

Our labor is $1.99/Sq Ft. If old carpet has to come out first, figure about $1.00/Sq Ft for removal. Every room gets measured on the free visit so you see the total before you agree.
Laminate is water resistant, not waterproof. On a cellar slab we test the moisture and lay a vapor barrier under the pad. If water actually puddles down there, LVP is the better call and we'll tell you so.
Good laminate has a hard wear surface that resists claws better than many wood finishes. Felt pads under chair legs and a mat by the water bowl keep it looking new for a long time.
Either way works. Our crew can shift it out and back for $250. Just clear off shelves, dressers and anything breakable before we show up that morning.
Two bedrooms, or one finished cellar, usually wrap in a single day. Larger first floors with lots of doorways can take two, and the floor is ready for traffic once our tools are loaded back in the van.
Steps can be wrapped in laminate with a nose piece that matches the floor. Stairs vary a lot, so we price them after looking at how yours are built.
Labor is paid on install morning when our crew gets there, and the planks are paid at delivery. There's no large deposit weeks in advance.
Twelve full months of install coverage comes standard, while any flaw in the planks goes to whoever made them. If something from our work needs attention, a crew member returns and fixes it.
