Water Resistant Laminate
Hay chaff on boots, a wet Lab back from Muddy Brook, a spilled pot of maple sap: water resistant laminate copes fine, provided nobody leaves a puddle sitting until morning.

Each floating laminate floor lies on foam that cushions every step and hushes the click of dog claws. Down in a cellar, plastic sheeting covers the slab ahead of that foam.
Our estimator carries in a bundle of sample planks. Set a gray one by the woodstove and a brown one by the pantry, then see how each looks when the afternoon light drops.
For one year our installers stand behind their laminate work, and whoever made the planks backs them too. You pay labor when our van rolls up, the planks when they come.

We ask $1.99/Sq Ft for the installing, and the foam under the planks is free. If old carpet or linoleum has to come out before we begin, figure on about $1.00/Sq Ft more for removal.
It handles it well. Water resistant laminate takes wet barn boots and slush from the driveway, though puddles should get a quick towel, and the edges at the door are sealed by our crew.
If the slab passes a moisture check, yes. A plastic sheet covers the concrete, foam is unrolled across that, and the laminate rides on top, staying flat through humid summer weather.
We level low spots in the subfloor before any planks go down. That prep is what keeps laminate seams tight and stops the floor from flexing under your feet.
Yes. Carpet, the old pad, the spiky tack strips and every staple ride away in our truck, usually for around $1.00/Sq Ft, and the subfloor is swept before laminate goes in.
The foam soaks up most of that noise, and a flat subfloor handles the rest. A thicker 12mm plank helps even more, giving a footstep that sounds close to real wood.
No, they are separate. Labor money changes hands once our crew has carried in its tools, and the planks and pad are paid when the delivery from Coventry reaches your driveway.
There is. Should an installation problem crop up in the first year, our licensed, insured crew returns to fix it, and the laminate maker covers the planks themselves.
