Walkthrough Before We Start
Postwar capes and ranches here sometimes hide a subfloor that dips or squeaks, so our lead taps through each room, runs a straightedge over it and notes every threshold before ordering a single carton.

Nobody on your floor is a subcontractor. Our own employees arrive licensed, insured and NWFA certified, and they answer to Brazil Floors from start to finish.
On the first morning we measure again, carry cartons to the rooms they belong in and set trim pieces by the door, which lets the installer keep a steady rhythm all day.
Our workmanship comes with twelve months of coverage, and the board manufacturer adds its own warranty on the wood, which leaves you protected on both the labor and the material.

Running boards along the longest wall leaves the fewest offcuts and gives a ranch room more length.

Short planks laid in alternating angles make a dining room look tailored and traditional.

Mitered ends meet in a crisp arrow, ideal for the open floor plans of renovated homes.

Boards on a diagonal lead the eye across the room, which helps a compact den feel larger.

Squares of oak with the grain turned in alternate directions create a classic parquet look for a sunroom.

A basket weave of short pieces, edged with a darker border, adds character to a front room in an older West Side house.

Labor for nail-down is $2.25/Sq Ft, including nails and underlayment. Pair it with our boards and you pay $5.50/Sq Ft unfinished or $6.00/Sq Ft prefinished, installed.
Yes. The crew rips out the carpet and pad, pulls the staples, fixes any soft plywood and nails the oak onto a sound base.
Engineered hardwood floats on padding with glue in the joints, so no fasteners reach the concrete. Labor for that method is $2.00/Sq Ft.
Tear-out runs about $1.00/Sq Ft, and the crew gives you the exact amount when they see the floor at the estimate.
Boxes ship from the Natick warehouse the next day. Unfinished oak needs to settle in the house first, and we set that timing with you.
It is a separate flat charge of $250. The crew clears each room and sets everything back when the floor is down.
The labor charge is due as the crew begins, and the material is due when the cartons are dropped off. We do not ask for money just to hold a date.
We give a one-year labor warranty, and the manufacturer covers the wood. Every installer is on our payroll, licensed, insured and certified by the NWFA.
