No subcontractors here. The installers are Brazil Floors employees with a license, insurance and NWFA certification.
The first morning the crew measures again, then lines up cartons, reducers and trim by the doors where they will be used, so the nailer keeps moving.
We cover our labor for one full year, and the board manufacturer covers the wood. Between the two, both sides of the job are protected.

Running boards parallel to the long wall keeps waste low and the work fast. A narrow cape living room reads longer.

Short lengths set at right angles make a zigzag, each piece fitted by hand. It is a good match for a formal dining room.

Each board is cut at 45 degrees so rows join in a crisp V, which looks sharp in an open kitchen.

Planks run on a diagonal send the eye across the floor and help a small kitchen feel wider.

Oak squares with alternating grain make a classic parquet, well suited to a den or sunroom.

Short oak pieces woven over and under, usually edged with a border, bring warmth to an older front hall.

The nail down labor rate is $2.25/Sq Ft, with the nails and underlayment counted. Add material from us and you reach $5.50/Sq Ft for unfinished or $6.00/Sq Ft for prefinished.
Yes. The crew removes carpet and padding, clears the tack strips, secures weak spots in the subfloor and nails the oak over solid plywood. Taking out the old flooring is priced at about $1.00/Sq Ft.
Engineered hardwood, floated on underlayment with glued seams so nothing is nailed into the slab. Labor for that is $2.00/Sq Ft.
Yes. Vinyl plank labor is $2.00/Sq Ft and laminate labor is $1.99/Sq Ft, and vinyl suits basements and mudrooms that see moisture.
We deliver from the Natick warehouse the next day, so the boxes tend to arrive soon after you place the order.
A new tread is $60, with riser, nosing, stain and labor included. Stairs in good condition can be refinished for $50 per step instead.
You pay labor as the crew arrives and material as the boxes are delivered. A sanding job is split into two payments, the first at the start and the second with the last coat.
Our labor has a one year warranty and the manufacturer warrants the boards. The whole crew carries a license, insurance and NWFA certification.
