The people in your house are Brazil Floors employees, not subcontractors, and each is licensed, insured and NWFA certified.
On install day cartons are counted again and thresholds are laid out in advance. The nailer starts only after the first rows look right.
We warranty our labor for one year, and the boards come with the manufacturer's own warranty, so the work and the wood both have cover.

Boards run alongside the longest wall, which wastes the least wood and lengthens a narrow porch room.

Short pieces set in a zigzag give a cottage dining room an old fashioned woven look.

Each end is cut at an angle, so rows meet in a sharp point that leads the eye down a hall.

Planks laid on the diagonal draw the eye toward the corner, so a small Highlands den feels wider.

Oak squares turned grain against grain recall a traditional parquet, good for a sunroom.

Short strips woven over and under, with a dark border, suit a formal front room.

Labor to nail down oak is $2.25/Sq Ft, with the nails and underlayment inside that rate. Wood supplied by us brings the package to $5.50/Sq Ft unfinished or $6.00/Sq Ft prefinished.
We work on the island. The ferry crossing for our installers and your boxes is something Brazil Floors coordinates, and the work calendar is settled with you at booking.
Engineered hardwood floated over foam, so no nail touches the concrete. Labor is $2.00/Sq Ft.
Yes. Labor is $2.00/Sq Ft for vinyl plank and $1.99/Sq Ft for laminate, and vinyl suits damp entries near the water.
Wood moves with humidity, so we leave an expansion gap along the walls and recommend nail and glue for wide planks.
A tread is $60, with riser, nosing and stain counted. Refinishing a sound step is $50.
Labor is due as the crew starts and material when boxes are delivered. Any sanding is paid in two halves: 50% on day one and 50% at the last coat.
Yes. Our labor carries one year of warranty, the flooring has its manufacturer's coverage, and the crew is licensed, insured and NWFA certified.
