Walkthrough Before We Start
Before any board is opened, our lead installer walks the house, taps the plywood for soft spots and compares door heights, so the first row starts straight.

Everybody who kneels on your subfloor is on our payroll. Each installer is licensed, insured and NWFA certified, and none of the work is passed to a subcontractor.
Cartons are delivered ahead of time and stacked in the room to settle. Reducers, trim and threshold pieces wait by each opening before the nailer comes out.
Our labor is guaranteed for one year, and the mill backs the wood with its own warranty. If a seam opens during that first year, a crew returns and corrects it.

Boards run along the longest wall, which wastes the least wood and stretches a narrow Chapel Hill hall.

We do. Labor for either one is a flat $2.00/Sq Ft for vinyl or $1.99/Sq Ft for laminate, and vinyl suits mudrooms and damp lower levels.
Next day from our Natick warehouse. Boylston is a reasonable drive out Route 9 and the Pike, so the crew is usually on site soon after the boxes arrive.
Each new oak tread is $60, with riser, nosing, stain and labor included. Worn steps that are still sound can be refinished for $50 per step.
Labor is due when the crew arrives, and material is due when the boxes are delivered. Sanding jobs are split 50% at the start and 50% when the final coat goes on.
Yes. You get one year of labor coverage from Brazil Floors plus the manufacturer warranty on the wood, and every crew member is licensed, insured and NWFA certified.
