Walkthrough Before We Start
The first visit is a walk through every room. Our lead feels for flex in the subfloor, measures how high each door swings and picks the direction the boards will take.

Payroll employees only, never hired-out labor. Each one is licensed, covered by our insurance and certified by the NWFA before entering a Worcester home.
Install day opens with a recount of the cartons. Transition strips get set at each doorway before a single nail is fired, which keeps the pace steady.
You get twelve months on our workmanship, and the wood has the mill's own coverage on top, so a defect in either one has an owner.

Boards parallel to the longest wall waste the least and keep a long parlor in a Worcester triple-decker looking calm.

Short pieces turned ninety degrees build a zigzag, the old-fashioned choice for a dining room on Bancroft Hill.

Mitered ends meet at a point, a layout that flatters the open kitchens of recent builds off Route 146.

Boards set on the diagonal stretch a tight bedroom and hide walls that drift out of square in older city houses.

Parquet blocks rotate against one another and form a grid, well suited to a den near Worcester State University.

Woven short strips with a contrasting border give a front hall the look of a craftsman's inlay.

The nail-down labor rate is $2.25/Sq Ft, which already counts the nails and underlayment. Ordering the wood from us makes the installed price $5.50/Sq Ft unfinished or $6.00/Sq Ft prefinished.
Yes. We pull the carpet and pad, and tear-out of old flooring runs about $1.00/Sq Ft. Hauling the furniture out and back is a $250 flat fee.
Engineered hardwood floated on a pad with glued seams. It never gets nailed into concrete, and labor is $2.00/Sq Ft.
Yes. Vinyl plank labor is $2.00/Sq Ft and laminate labor is $1.99/Sq Ft, so a hardwood upstairs and a durable floor below can be done in one visit.
Next-day delivery out of our Natick warehouse. The start date for the crew is agreed at your estimate.
Each new tread costs $60 and includes the riser, nosing and stain, plus labor. Old treads that are still solid get refinished at $50 per step instead.
Labor is due when the crew arrives to begin, material is due as the boxes are delivered, and any sanding is split half at the start and half at the final coat.
Our workmanship is guaranteed for twelve months, and the planks come with the maker's warranty. Every Worcester installer is on our payroll with a license, insurance and an NWFA card.
