Walkthrough Before We Start
At the first visit our lead walks every room, steps on any spongy patches of subfloor, measures under each door and plans which way the planks should run.

Whoever shows up at your door is an NWFA certified installer we employ directly, licensed and insured. Adams jobs are never passed along to outside crews.
On install day we measure again before cutting anything. Thresholds, transitions and the number of cartons are checked against the plan from your first visit.
Should a plank loosen or squeak within a year, our installer returns free of charge, and the mill separately warranties its wood.

Straight rows following the room's longest wall, the everyday favorite that wastes very little wood.

Short planks arranged in a zigzag, adding old world charm to a dining room.

Angled ends meeting in a clean V that draws your eye down a hallway.

Planks laid on a diagonal, which makes a small room feel larger and hides walls that aren't quite square.

Small oak squares turned against each other for a tidy, classic pattern with lots of grain.

Pairs of short planks that switch direction every square, a basket weave look for a den or library.

Solid oak nailed down costs $2.25/Sq Ft in labor. Adding glue makes it $2.50/Sq Ft, while floating engineered planks run $2.00/Sq Ft. With our wood, unfinished oak packages are $5.50/Sq Ft and prefinished packages are $6.00/Sq Ft.
Some seasonal movement is normal when the heat runs all winter. We let solid oak acclimate in your home and check moisture first, which keeps gaps small and cupping away in summer.
Yes. We'll install it at our standard labor rates. Buy from us instead and you pay contractor pricing, get Coventry delivery the following day, and any lower written quote gets beaten.
We handle both. Removing old flooring runs about $1.00/Sq Ft with haul away included, and moving the furniture, then setting it back afterward, costs a flat $250.
Engineered hardwood can, floated over underlayment for $2.00/Sq Ft. Solid oak needs a plywood subfloor to nail into, so it isn't a good fit for bare concrete.
One or two bedrooms are often finished in a day. Larger jobs covering most of the downstairs usually need two or three days, plus a few days of acclimation for solid wood.
Installation labor is settled when our van reaches your driveway, and wood ordered through us gets paid the day the delivery truck unloads. Sanding and finishing is paid half when it begins, half when it wraps up.
The mill warranties the wood, and we cover our labor for a full year. Phone 508-306-4190 if anything comes up, and the installers who did your floor will come back to fix it.
