Dustless Floor Refinishing
Each sander runs hooked to a vacuum, catching most dust at the drum. Before any finish goes on, walls are dusted top to bottom and each corner is vacuumed a second time.

Most rooms need only a few days between bare wood and the last pass of finish. We give you the walk schedule and the day the furniture can return before we begin.
Cracks, pet spots and cupped strips get fixed ahead of the sander, so the patch disappears into the room. Repairs are priced free during the estimate visit.
We warranty refinishing labor a full year. Half the bill is due the first sanding day, the rest when the last layer of poly has been rolled out.

No color at all, just clear poly, lets white oak stay bright and honey pale in a sunny room near Mill Pond.

Medium brown hides the daily dirt kids carry in from the North Egremont fields and yards.

A neutral, soft brown tones down the orange cast red oak picks up with age, and it sits well beside painted trim.

A deep brown with a red undertone feels warm in a dining room facing the hills off Route 41.

Dark walnut brings a formal feel to a front room without hiding the grain of the oak underneath.

Near black ebony makes a bold statement in big open rooms. Dust shows on it more quickly than on paler tones, and we mention that before you choose.

Sanding and refinishing runs $2.50/Sq Ft, stain and polyurethane both included. If furniture needs moving, that is a flat $250, and any repairs get priced once we have eyes on them.
Our sanding machines feed dust straight into a vacuum while they run, so the air stays far cleaner than with older rigs. Doorways are taped off with plastic, and every surface gets cleaned before the finish goes on.
Most families do. You just need another way around the rooms we are working on, and pets should stay clear until the finish has dried hard enough to walk on.
Yes. After sanding we test stain swatches on your own oak, and you choose the shade in your light. Staining by itself is $2.00/Sq Ft, but a full refinish already includes color.
Light scratches sand out. Deep gouges are filled, and dark pet stains that sit deep in the wood usually mean replacing those strips before we sand, so the floor looks even.
Half the bill is settled as sanding gets underway, and the remaining half after the final layer of finish cures and you walk the floor with us.
Drying depends on which finish we use and on the humidity, so we give you a clear day for light foot traffic and a later day for furniture before we start. Felt pads under the legs help a lot.
Every refinish comes with labor coverage for a year. Our crews hold NWFA certification, the company is licensed and insured, and the people sanding are our own, not hired out.
