Tread samples ride in the estimator's truck. Hold one against your entry floor at the base of the stairs and the right wood shows itself.
Any wobbly step is screwed down hard before new wood arrives. Then our installer fits each tread tight to the stringer, glues it and fastens it.
Licensed, insured, NWFA certified crews build each Old Lyme staircase, and our labor carries a full year of warranty. Any slip gets corrected for free.

One step is $60, covering the hardwood tread, riser, bull nose, stain matched to your floor and the labor.
