Brazil Floors carpenters build your stairs, licensed, insured and NWFA certified. No outside carpenter touches a Waterford staircase.
Each tread is measured alone, because even postwar staircases are rarely square. Every piece is cut to its own step.
Labor on each tread and riser is warranted for one year from the day the stairs reopen, and the oak carries the maker's warranty.

One new oak step costs $60 with tread, riser, nosing, stain and labor included. Sanding a stair, or laying laminate treads, is $50.

The treads take the same stain and finish as your floor, so the color carries up the stairs.
We do, with the pad and staples, and the cost is worked out at your free visit.
We fit new treads and risers and reinstall your balusters. New railings are priced separately.
Labor is paid when the crew starts and the wood when it is delivered. Booking online saves $250.
