No subcontractor crew walks into your Old Lyme house. Our installers are Brazil Floors employees with a license, insurance and NWFA certification.
Each room is measured wall to wall, and cartons, trim and reducers are staged inside the entry in the order the rows will run.
A one year warranty covers our labor and the manufacturer warranty covers the boards, so the craftsmanship and the oak are both protected.

Planks run with the longest wall for the least waste, which stretches a narrow hall in a Neck Road cottage.

Short boards meet at right angles in a zigzag, each one cut by hand. Right for a formal dining room on Lyme Street.

Rows mitered at 45 degrees meet in a clean V, a look that suits the open kitchens of updated shore houses.

Boards on the diagonal draw the eye across a room and make a small Black Hall cottage feel wider.

Oak squares turned in alternating directions form a parquet panel, a traditional detail for a sunporch by the water.

Short strips of oak are woven over and under within a frame border. Classic for the front hall of an old Lyme Street house.
