The Challenge
The sunroom gets strong light all afternoon, and the step between the rooms was a quarter inch off.
Our Approach
We removed the tile, evened the transition and picked a laminate with a UV stable surface that will not fade in the sun.
The Process
After the underlayment, planks ran lengthwise from the kitchen into the sunroom with no threshold in between.
Materials and Finish
Laminate with a UV stable surface, quiet underlayment and a single flush transition.
The Result
Kitchen and sunroom now read as one bright space, and the floor still looks new after a full summer of sun.
