The Challenge
Pet stains go deep into oak. Sanding alone would not lift them, and the hall is too narrow to hide a patch.
Our Approach
We marked every stained strip, cut them out at different lengths and laced in new oak so the pattern stays natural.
The Process
The repaired area was sanded together with the hall and bedrooms, then sealed in one continuous finish.
Materials and Finish
Matching oak strips, wood glue and a satin finish to tie the hall and rooms together.
The Result
The dark spots are gone and the hall looks like one floor again from the front door to the back bedroom.
