The Challenge
The old stairs had rounded nosings and carpet, and the new design called for square edges.
Our Approach
We used square nose white oak treads and set each one with a level so the reveal is even on every step.
The Process
Treads were glued and nailed, risers painted white and the treads sealed in a matte finish.
Materials and Finish
Square nose white oak treads, painted risers and a matte finish.
The Result
The stairs look clean and modern, matching the new white oak floor below.
