The Challenge
The water had spread under the cabinets and swelled the strips into a hump.
Our Approach
We pulled the fridge, removed the swollen strips back to dry wood and replaced a small patch of subfloor.
The Process
New oak was woven in, then the kitchen was sanded and finished as one floor.
Materials and Finish
Matching red oak strips, subfloor patch and a satin finish.
The Result
The hump is gone and the kitchen floor sits flat again.
