The Challenge
The strips along the doorway had cupped and turned gray.
Our Approach
We fixed the leak with the plumber, removed the damaged strips and wove in new oak.
The Process
The hallway was sanded and finished so the repair matches the rest of the floor.
Materials and Finish
Red oak strips matched to the hallway, glue and a satin finish.
The Result
The hallway is flat and even, and the leak is a thing of the past.
