The Challenge
Dark stain shows every mistake. Any sanding swirl or uneven spot turns into a visible mark.
Our Approach
We sanded with finer grits than usual and did a final pass with a buffer to remove any swirl before color went on.
The Process
The stain went on by hand and was wiped evenly. After it dried we sealed it with two layers of satin.
Materials and Finish
Espresso stain, fine grit sanding and satin finish.
The Result
The floor is deep and even. With the black frames and white walls, the room looks sharp.
