The Challenge
The strips in the living room had cupped, and some had lifted at the edges.
Our Approach
After the basement dried out, we removed the strips that stayed cupped and wove in new oak.
The Process
The living room was sanded and finished as one floor so the repair blends in.
Materials and Finish
Oak strips matched to the living room, glue, nails and a satin finish.
The Result
The living room floor is flat again, and the family added a dehumidifier downstairs.
