The Challenge
The damage went into the subfloor and spread farther than it looked from the top.
Our Approach
We opened the floor until we found solid wood, replaced the subfloor and wove in new oak strips.
The Process
The area was sanded with the room and sealed in one finish so it blends in.
Materials and Finish
New subfloor, matching oak strips and a satin finish.
The Result
The floor is solid again and the repair is impossible to spot.
