The Challenge
Red oak can go purple under gray, and the apartment gets very little natural light.
Our Approach
We blended a charcoal with a little brown and tested it under the apartment lights before choosing.
The Process
The stain was applied by hand and sealed with a matte finish to keep the look soft.

Custom charcoal gray stain and a matte finish.
The Result
The floors feel calm and modern, and the art on the walls stands out.
