The Challenge
Maple is hard to match, and the loft floor had aged to a soft amber color.
Our Approach
We cut out the damaged section, sourced maple in the same width and wove it in with staggered joints.
The Process
The patch was sanded with the surrounding floor and finished to match the amber tone of the loft.
Materials and Finish
Matching maple strips, glue, nails and a tinted satin finish.
The Result
The repair blends into the loft, and the kitchen area looks whole again.
