The Challenge
The upstairs has knee walls and sloped ceilings, which makes measuring and cutting along the edges slow work.
Our Approach
We planned the rows so the cut pieces land under the knee walls where no one sees them.
The Process
The planks were locked in over a thin underlayment to keep the doors from rubbing, then finished with new trim.
Materials and Finish
Laminate in a light ash look, thin underlayment and painted trim.
The Result
The kids sleep better without the dusty carpet, and the rooms look brighter.
