The Challenge
Pet stains this dark go through the whole strip, so sanding alone would never remove them.
Our Approach
We marked every stained strip, cut them out and wove in matching oak at staggered lengths.
The Process
The bedroom was sanded as one floor and finished so the new strips blend with the old.
Materials and Finish
Replacement red oak strips, cleats and a satin finish blended to the old floor.
The Result
The black spots are gone and the bedroom floor looks clean and even.
