Town
Lakewood
The Challenge
The house was new, so the subfloor was solid, but the rooms were large and open.
Our Approach
We ran the oak the long way through the open rooms so the space feels even bigger.
The Process
The strips were nailed over rosin paper, then sanded and finished in a warm satin.
Materials and Finish
Three inch red oak, rosin paper and a satin finish.
The Result
The main floor feels warm and open, and the oak ties every room together.
