Town
Jersey City
The Challenge
The building required a high sound rating, and the slab had small ridges from old glue.
Our Approach
We ground the slab smooth and used a vinyl plank with a thick acoustic backing approved by the building.
The Process
The planks were laid through the living room and bedroom with no threshold between them.
Materials and Finish
Luxury vinyl plank with acoustic backing and new trim.
The Result
The condo passed the sound check, and the unit feels much more modern.
