The Challenge
Matching wood to wood is hard. The floor needed to complement the cabinets without looking like an exact copy.
Our Approach
We brought a cabinet door to the floor and tested stains next to it in the same light.
The Process
After the final sanding, the chosen stain went on by hand and was sealed with a satin finish.
Materials and Finish
Medium brown stain, sample tests and satin finish.
The Result
The kitchen and floor work together now, warm and balanced from end to end.
