The Challenge
Rug pads had left marks, and the areas in sunlight had darkened more than the rest.
Our Approach
We sanded the full floor to bare wood so the color would come back even from room to room.
The Process
After edging and vacuuming, we sealed the floor and laid two layers of satin finish.
Materials and Finish
Sanded oak, clear sealer and satin finish.
The Result
The oak is even and warm again, and the rooms look bigger without the rugs.
