The Challenge
Red oak tends to turn amber under clear finish, which was the opposite of what they wanted.
Our Approach
We tested a pale natural stain with a water based finish that keeps the wood light over time.
The Process
The stain was applied in thin sections and sealed with a matte finish.

The Result
The floors look light and calm, and they will stay that way.
